I got home from the gym this morning and hit the bed like a rock. I was probably snoring before my head hit the pillow. I slept very soundly. I was aroused with a beautiful tickle of coriander wafting through my house. My husband was cooking something very yummy!!

I looked over at the clock and it was 8. I had a moment of unease, when I wasn't sure if it was 8am or 8pm. I remembered setting an alarm to wake me up for work, and it hadn't gone off yet. So it must be 8pm, I thought.

I sat up, on the end of the bed, and paused. I inhaled a long breath, through my nose, smelling the aroma floating through my room. That man of mine is wonderful, I thought. I told him earlier, that I was craving a hamburger, and I could tell by the smell, that's what he made me for supper.

When I climbed out of bed, he was gone, he had already left for work, and left my tea on the stove top. I wasn't sure if both of the patties were for me, so I phoned him to ask. He confirmed that the 2 patties were for me. I decided that I would enjoy one of them now with a banana smoothie, and I would take the other one to work with me for first break.

I got to work and I knew right away that we were in for a long night. Not because it was our last night before our days off, but because all the casuals were getting dressed to go home. This means that not many lines were running, which equates to a long, drawn out, tiring, clock watching night. (if Mr. Pecks was on this shift then time wouldn't have been a problem!! Lol)

I got onto the floor and searched for a 'Permanent' so I could grab a copy of their roster. Ha......there was no roster. Only 2 lines were running, and by now, we should know the drill. I do, and I did. I jumped in anywhere. Within minutes, uniline was down. I thought to myself "Fuck, what am I gonna do now?"

We managed to evenly share the workload, and breaks.

About 4am the last of the running lines went spastic. We all converged in the canteen to have our final break for the night, this turned into a laugh fest. Queen B had me in stitches.

Around 530am the others went to get ready to go home. I drew the short straw, which meant that i was on the line at shift change. This didn't bother me. I wasn't in a rush to go home and sleep. I had plans to hit the gym.

Well, at 20 minutes to 6am the operators sent me on my way. They assured me that the line would not run and I could go. Of course I didn't stick around to hear them say it twice. I bolted to the change room and made it to the gatehouse at 10min to the hour.

Once in my car, I was heading to the gym when I remember that today is Saturday and they may have different operation hours. I quickly grabbed my handbag to see the flyer with their hours. Sure enough they opened later this morning. So I headed home to bed instead. Surprise, surprise it took me all of 5 minutes to doze off to sleep.

It's now 6pm Saturday night and we've come full circle!! My plans for the evening is to run up to work and "Win" this "Biggest Loser" contest I have going against Glam!! I better stop at the ATM, just incase she surprises me!! (I seriously doubt it but just incase)(I'm gonna get dolled up just incase I see Mr. Pecks while i'm there, lol)
