Just when you think you've got it all figured out, someone comes along and pulls the rug from underneath you!!

Today happens to be my wonderful Husbands 44th birthday. He wasn't in a very good mood most of the day, so when he asked me what I wanted for dinner, I suggested "Sizzler's". (I was thinking of my diet requirements......Thank You!!)

We needed to squeeze my daughters soccer training into this mix as well. So, of course, things got heated as we made our plans for the evening. (Rushing back and forth to Ingleburn and getting to the resturant with enough time to eat before Salomon's train departs, is too much for one taxi driver to bare!!)

You would think that going out to eat would be the easiest option.......well, not in my house, with my family!!

My husband constantly frets over the fact that he has a train to catch. He is the type of man who turns up at the train station 30 minutes before his regular train is set to depart, which gets him to work an hour before his shift begins. (And I think I'm crazy, bahaha)

So when we makes plans to go anywhere, we also need to consult the clock. He always carries his work gear with him, so that, if for some reason it gets close to the trains departure time, he can quickky zip to the train station without returning home for his gear. He will literally leave us sitting in the resturant to catch his train!!

Yo'll might think that's normal to go to work on time, to be prepared, but he's obsessed!!. He gets to work 1 hour before he's meant to start. Plus, in a pinch, he can drive his own car and make it to work in a matter of 30 minutes.

After explaining his nightly ritual of preparing to go to work. I'm sure you all can figure out how "My Night" turned out........YES, I was left sitting in the resturant, on his birthday, so he didn't miss his train.

His abrupt departure put me in a foul mood!! (I was more pissed off that I had missed out on some vital sleep, I WANTED more sleep badly!! And to top it off, I didn't enjoy my $102 dollar Sizzler dinner.......FUCK!!)

Being abandoned, my foul mood, combined with my lack of sleep, makes me a walking, talking, ticking time bomb!! Thank God tonights shift is boring Blue Shift (this in itself will sober me right up)

I'm excited to be working my first shift with Pinky and her boy toy boyfriend Mr. Clown!! We haven't all worked together since I was their Store Manager at Krispy Kreme. My beautiful Son and his girlfriend are also working with me tonight, so I must be on my best behavior!! (I wouldn't want to embarrass him, on his shift)

As I arrived on the floor, I was being my friendly self and saying hello to a few people, when my Son turns and says to me "do you know everybody in this entire factory, cause you talk to everyone?"

He doesn't realise that I've worked at this job for nearly 2 years now, and before out "Coloured Shift" assignment, I packed with most of these people before.
