It's hard to stay positive when you have everyone around you telling you that you have "No Chance" at a job!! 

Recently, there were 4 permanent position available, for which I applied and interviewed. I currently work with 4 different shifts each week on a short term contract of 5 night shifts per week. (Need I say, I'm dying to get back to the normal rotation!!)  

What I've noticed, working on the different shifts is, that each shift seemed to have their own opinion and speculations as to who would get the job. (all with basically the same people winning out)

I completely trusted and had confidence in the manager who interviewed me!! I knew she would chose the person who best deserved the job, and who could compliment the team. (I was thankful I wasn't in her shoes, choosing) 

I was asked one night if I would be upset if I didn't get the job. My answer might surprise some of you, but NO, I would not be upset. My faith in my belief system is strong and I believe "It will happen if it's meant to happen"!! My life is in the hands of a higher power and I'm just along for the ride (Even though permanent jobs are far an few between)

This wasn't the first permanent position I've applied for at this place!! Why would I let, not getting this position, bother me now?

When my contract ends, and if I don't get a permanent position, at the end of the day, I still have my casual position and I'll still get to return working my normal rotation!!

All in all, things will return to normal and I will be where I'm meant to be!!
