This long Anzac weekend has passed with plenty of rest and relaxation, but here I sit, at 1230am, the night before I'm due to have my interview for a permanent full time position at work.......Sleepless in Sydney, lol!!

I should be sleeping so that I'm firing with all my pistons tomorrow, but I'm so wired and nervious that sleep evades me!!

I'm a big believer that "Things happen for a reason" and if this job is meant to be mine, it will happen!! (never mind that 7 other nice people are trying for the same job)

Of course, I plan to go into my interview and sell myself to the panel of my peers and my supervisor, but if I happen to not get this job, I'm not going to let it get me down......I know that when the time is right, I will get the job that's meant for me!! (I have a very strong faith in a higher power aka karma, fate, destiny whatever you want to call it!!)

Over the two years I've worked at this job, I have heard so much negative feedback about how things don't work the way they are supposed to. How positions are given to friends and family.......basically it's not "What you know, it's who you know"!!

Well this might be true, but people like myself, with a positive outlook at most situations, don't let this kind of things affect us!!

I know my life is on a pre-determined path and I'm just along for the ride!! There's no use in dwelling on the negatives!! Just like there no point in bitching about the politics of this place!!

Either way, I will hold my chin high, and accept the outcome with grace!! 

I will be rewarded, either in this life, or the next for my unequivocal beliefs!!

Good things come to those who wait ANYWAY!!
