I woke up tonight prepared and grateful for my first overtime shift. I was definitely well rested, but I faced a small dilemma!! I was double booked for this night!! 

I had a close "family friends" daughters 16th birthday party to attend and I was due into work at 10pm. (I RSVP'd to this birthday party, which was being catered, and I agreed to work. I could not pull out of either and disappoint, that's just wrong!!)   

I slapped on a coat of make-up and donned some fancy apparel and headed to the Birthday Party. I made my required appearance and gave my gift to this lovely little woman, with many happy wishes!!  

We left the party and headed home so I could fulfil my working requirements. I won't mention what shift I landed on tonight, because there seems to "Boisterous Outraged Being", bent out of shape at my choice of words and my 'personal assessment' of a "CHARACTER" in one my blogs. Obviously, this person has read further into my fictional assessment and come to his own conclusion, and concluded that it was a personal attack on one of "HIS" friends! (He obviously didn't bother to read my disclaimer)

Regardless, it seems funny to me how he came to his conclusion to whom I was referencing. The problem I see is, he has confused my choice of words and does not know the correct definition of "Reverse Discrimination". I have never referred to one of my characters as a "Racist", PERIOD!!

I began my night and hit the floor in a positive frame of mind!! That is, until I was approached by this "Boisterous Outraged Being" and verbally assaulted with profanity and accusations. (I have never before, in the two years I've worked at this workplace, had any contact with this person and he stands yelling in my face, calling me a "Fuckin Liar" and a "Son of a Bitch") 

His choice of words and his tone had me frightened and in fear. I'm sure, if I was to bring this incident to the attention of the "Human Resources" department, I could lay charges of "Work Place Bulling" and/or "Harassment". If he continues with his hostile attack against me,  I may need the seek the polices advice in this matter. His attempt to intimidate me in the workplace is not a good idea!! (For fucks sakes, my blogs are a fictional piece of literature, including this post, meant for entertainment purposes......I generalise and use nicknames for a reason!! Some people are so narrow minded) 

Fortunately for him, I believe everyone is entitled to their opinion and I will not judge him for his expressed opinion. I will, however, choice to take this to the required level if needed. (An advance warning told me that he is a "family friend" to the kingpin on this particular shift, I may need to go straight upstairs with my complaints) 

My plan for now, is to sit back and push his verbal assault against me, to the back-burner.......maybe he will see the err of his ways and "leave me the fuck alone!!"

Relief washed over me as the shift came to an end and I exited the building. I was edgy as I walked to the parking lot. Thanks to this assault, I felt the need to kept looking over my shoulder.
