Under: Me being Me
Here's the scenario: A married man is out on the town with a couple of mates. He's enjoying a couple of drinks, a few good laughs, and he's throwing a few bucks into the pokies.
A semi-beautiful woman sits next to him at his poker machine and strikes up a conversation. The conversation is witty and full of sexual innuendo's. She happens to be a very good "Man Charmer".
The night trickles on and their conversation heats up to an explicit level. The drinks are creeping up on him and the furthest thing from his mind is that his wife is sitting at home with his nest of kids.
Then, out of the blue, the man hits the "Jackpot", his winnings amounts to $40,000 dollars.
By the time the attendant arrives and gives him his payout slip, the woman has taken it upon herself to ask the man if he would like to take her to a hotel, so he can hit the "Jackpot" with her.
At this point, the mans stops thinking with his brain and his dick takes the drivers seat. Of course the mans feeling extremely lucky and points toward the door, implying that the woman should lead the way.
They head to the nearest hotel room and begin a hot and heavy love making session that would rival a hornets nest.
Once the deed is complete and the cloud from the alcohol begins to fade, the mans brain kicks in and comes back to life. He's smacked hard in the face with the stench of infidelity!!
His eyes frantically search the room for the clock. The time of morning will ultimately determine the amount of lies he will have to spit to his wife!!
He's first thought is to "Make Tracks" and "beeline" it straight for home, but he can't shake his feeling of freedom.
His relationship with his wife hasn't had that much passion in years and he longs for the feeling again. Choking back the feeling of regret, the man decides to push his boundaries and wakes the nameless woman next to him for a surprise, second roll in the hay.
They part with no exchanges of personal information, including each others name. A true "One Night Stand" just took place.
The man heads home with his brain in frantic overload thinking how is he going to talk his way out of this mess.
When he walks thru the threshold of his home, the profound feeling of shame engulfs him.
What should he do? Should he confess and risk the loss of his beloved family? and a possible "Divorce"? Should he hide his shame and vow to himself to never do that again.
Can he mask his shame by handing over the $40,000 dollars to his wife? Is it worth it?
I'm not exactly sure how I would feel if this was my husband. If I could look the other way and pretend that my husband had not been unfaithful.
Could I use the $40,000 dollars as an IRON, and smooth out the wrinkles of my marriage? I think I could!!
My problem would be that I could forgive him, but I would never forget. I would also make him choke on reality daily!!
After a few years of choking on my vile contention I'm sure my husband would have WISHED he never travelled THAT path, trust me!!!!
DIVORCE would have been an easier path to follow!!
This blog is dedicated to the video poker fiend who sat across from me at break.
