Under: Work Work Work
Why is it, that "Now-a-days", kids can't seem to make their own way to school?
When I was a kid, I used to ride my bike, what seemed like miles, to school. These days, kids expect a lift, including my kids!!
I finished working at 6am and headed straight to the gym! I had to quickly finish my workout and head straight home to drive my kids to school (this job is usually reserved for my husband),
I arrived home, right about the time for them to go. But, wouldn't you know it, neither of them were ready. I remained seated in my car waiting, this allowed sleep to slowly creep up on me and engulf me!!
To stave off my sleep and hurry my kids along, I became cranky!! Once I become cranky, everyone moves their asses!!
I was finally able to rest my head but my sleep was interrupted. I couldn't sleep!! I tossed and turned, for what seemed like hours (but was more like 20 minutes).
I was troubled by a conversation I had with Lezzy. Nothing is worse than getting home from work and still hashing over and over a conversation I've had, and not being able to remedy it, in my mind!!
What was bothering me is, Lezzy informed me that she wasn't happy with the "Nick Name" I'd given her in my blog, as a result, she ignored me the entire night and treated me like a social pariah!!
After our phone conversation the other night and her telling me she wasn't happy with her nick name, I took quick action to change her name and was looking forward to telling her that I found the perfect name. I was disappointed that she gave me the "Cold Sholder" all night long. (so living by "Newton's Law of Physic's", for every action, there's a reaction, I responded by ignoring her back)
We had a brief encounter in the toilets and I was kinda hoping that she would engage in a conversation but she didn't. (I found her silent treatment comical and nearly burst into laughter as I exited the toilets) I guess the old "Nick Name" really bothered her. (Either that or her girlfriend wore her out, with her home coming)
While at work I wasn't bothered enough by this dilemma, to ignore my "Male Eye Candy", "Mr. Pecks". I had ample amount of time to just stand and stair while repairs were being made to one of the machines. I think he might be flattered by all of this attention. He seems to smile every time he catches me gawking!!
All this man gawking at work gets my blood boiling and kicks my hormones into action (basically I'm "hot-and-bothered and in need of some love'n), so before I headed to bed, I warned my husband of my "After sleep expectations"!!
My husbands not a slow man!! He knew exactly what I wanted and he knew the right time to try his luck!!
He attacked me with the bravado of a matador and had me moaning "Olé".
