I opened my eyes, from my days slumber, to realise that today is the day that ends my freedom. My girls arrive back in Sydney in an hour. I'm a wee bit excited but I don't want to let on to that fact. I've been trying to pretend that it's been the finest time of my life, but really I've missed my girls.
I quickly showered then barked at my husband to "hurry "the fuck" up and get ready". Lucky I have an iPhone, because I was tracking their flight, when I noticed that the flight was arriving 25 minutes early. That's when I panicked!! If we ran into traffic heading into the city, we would be screwed!!
We pulled into the airport parking lot and I decided to press my luck and text message my daughter. I knew she would have her phone on as soon as they landed. She didn't disappoint!! She messages me back that they were just about out of Customs. Phew, we made it, in the nick of time!!
We headed home and enjoyed a yummy Mexican Tostada dinner. Once dinner was over, I put my younger daughter into the shower so I could make sure she was in bed asleep before I headed to work.
I arrived at work, quickly got ready and walked into the ultra clean room. As I was passing the production office, I noticed that my Chubby Hubby, from the G-Unit, was in the office. I popped my head in to say "hello", thats when Mr Foxtrot called me in to give me my new Contract. I was giving my Chubby Hubby a 'hello' hug, when I happened to glance out the window, and low and behold, there stood Mr. Tat and Mr. Wink Wink.
I thought to myself "This nights looking better already!!" So far I've spied 3 of the G-Unit staff. Maybe I had my night shifts mixed up and it was Green shift on tonight.
I walked out onto the factory floor to my first position, looked around and there were two more. That was very comforting to see most of the G-Unit operators. I knew I would have a few laughs and this would keep my eyes off the clock.
I was having a conversation with Mr. Tat and I told him that I heard things were very happy on Green shift. I didn't want to come right out with the gossip bomb that I heard, because that would be spreading rumours. (I don't condone spreading unless it's verifiable truths.)
Anyways, Mr. Tat blurts it out and said that it's all "out in the open". He also says things are sweet on shift. That's such a relief. I love a happy ending. The problem is that I've rendered the subject of our conversation an "un-do-able". Then me and Mr. Tat were debating the fact that all vagina's look alike. I want to know what you think?
