Today is Monday morning and I set an alarm to wake me up early. I thought today was my kids first day back to school after the Easter break. Boy was I mistaken. (note to self: read all school notes home so your better informed)

I jumped out of bed, headed to the kitchen to pack the school lunches, when I realised that I didn't do any shopping for the school snacks. (Im such a bad mother)

Lucky for the kids, we had pizza for dinner last night, so I wrapped up a few slices and shoved them into each bag. I know this isn't the most healthiest lunches, but when I was a kid, if my mom packed me pizza for lunch I would have been ecstatic. (I wouldn't have needed to raid her change purse for pizza money then lol).

Off to school they go with my husband at the wheel. Ten minutes later my husband and my little daughter walk back through the door and I question them asking "What? No school today?"

Apparently it's a pupil free day. Basically the teachers go to school and work a regular day without any students at school. This is my kind of teaching. I would be a teacher if I never had to look at a student. (I hate kids)

Maybe I should become an Internet Teacher. That would be a pretty good job. You could answer any questions they may have via email. You would never have to get dressed up and leave your house. I bet some time in the future that's how schooling will be.

Your kids will have to get up, get dressed in a home uniform and plug in the webcam for their lessons.

This would cut out the need for excessive government spending on schools. You would probably need less teachers. Which mean fewer salaries. Your kids wouldn't catch half as many colds, that get passed on to the parents, therefore cutting down lost time at work from illness. All-in-all a positive.

The only draw back I can see is that your kids wouldn't get the face to face, people interaction.

I've seen the documentaries about isolated monkeys how the act once the are put back into a communal area after being isolated. They become very withdrawn.

Maybe if they have home Internet schooling and make Fridays a go to school day we could kill two birds with one stone!! I'm up for it how bout you?

Next blog will be addressed to my local councilman suggesting Internet schooling.

O wait a minute......I just thought if another drawback. Your fuckin kids will be at home all day and night, and I would never have any time away from them. Buggar that!!

Keep the Kids in School!!
